If the verification of the downloads fail make sure you aren't using the same folder as you used during the original setup of SCCM as it will use the manifest file that is in that folder.

Windows Server 2012: Does ReFS replace NTFS? When should I use it?

Posted: 19 Jan 2013 04:24 AM PST

From "Ask Premier Field Engineering (PFE) Platforms" Blog: When I first heard of ReFS my immediate first question was whether ReFS as a file system was a direct replacement for NTFS. It didn't take long before my customers began to ask me the same question. In learning about this new file system in Windows Server 2012, it became apparent fairly quickly that ReFS, while a new file system, is built differently. ReFS stands for Resilient File System. NTFS has its place, and so does ReFS. While ReFS may appear to have some similarity to NTFS, it does not contain all the underlying NTFS features and scales efficiently to handle data sets far larger than NTFS.

Office Visio Stencil for Exchange 2013

Posted: 19 Jan 2013 03:38 AM PST

This stencil contains Exchange 2013 specific icons to help you create visual representations of Microsoft Exchange 2013 deployments, including on-premises, hybrid, and Office 365.

Creating visual representations of your on-premises, hybrid and Office 365 architectures, including Microsoft Exchange icons is helpful way to communicate your deployment. This Visio stencil provides icons -- many depicting servers, server roles, services, and applications -- that you can use in architecture diagrams, charts, and posters. These icons are primarily centered around on-premise deployments of Microsoft Exchange Server 2013, as well as hybrid Office 365 deployments of Exchange 2013.

Microsoft Office 2013 DocRecrypt Tool

Posted: 19 Jan 2013 03:39 AM PST

This tool allows admins to unprotect or change the password on password protected OOXML Word, Excel and PowerPoint files.

The tool gives admins who have configured the Escrow key feature options to get access to password protected files. The admin uses the tool and the private key of the escrow certificate to decrypt the file. Once decrypted the admin can choose between creating an unprotected copy of the file and changing the password of the file.

CM07 / CM12 Training

I always get asked about training for CM07/CM12 sometime known as SCCM07 and SCCM12. So, today when I stumbled across a YouTube channel, TeachMeSCCM, I thought that I would let everyone know about. I believe that Justin presents all of the videos in this series. My quick count is that there are over 20 videos, with a mix between CM12 and CM07. Most of them are step-by-step guides.

Anyways check out his YouTube channel:
